The 'Refuse to die' Breton Tote Bag
At the end of the day, nearly 20% of all our fabric is wasted at garment production and retires to Breton heaven without making it into one of our wonderful shirts. This gave us an idea. Let's use some of the mishaps and miss shaped cut offs and create something of value and sustainability.
We would love your support and reckon our first offering based on 300gsm striped cotton (see The Submariner) factory waste and cut offs. Stylish, practical and just big enough to take your towel, car keys, suncreams and a spot of lunch. Feels like we might be onto something.

Product Care
We use the highest quality technical fabrics available on the market and are passionate about creating timeless, lasting items. To keep your Breton clothing in great shape, wash it on cold and gentle cycle, do not tumble dry and hang dry immediately after washing. Do not bleach. Visit out Product Care page for more information.
Sustainability
We put our people and planet at the forefront of our business operation. We work a 'just-in-time' production line to ensure we minimise any waste fabric, and only ever sea freight our stock from our family run factory in Portugal to our warehouse in the UK. We've also proudly partnered with a local social enterprise that provides work opportunities to young adults with learning difficulties, autism and complex needs.
100%
All of our products are made from 100% unbleached organic cotton.

Frequently Asked Questions
Use this text to share information about your product or shipping policies.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
How long will it take to get my order?
It depends entirely on where you are and the delivery service you select. Typically, orders placed over £50 are shipping on our FREE delivery service which takes 3 - 5 working days. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days.
You can choose your delivery preferences at checkout should you need an express delivery, and all delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
How do I care for my Breton shirt?
All our fabric is pre shrunk before being hand cut to shape, therefore all shrinkage has already been done. To look after and care for your Breton, wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry and steam iron back to shape, this will lengthen the fibres to their original shape.
Are the shirts unisex?
All our shirts are unisex except the Bateau Mariners. These have a boat neck and are slightly tailored at the waist.
